A lady who had had severe periodontal disease which had been treated and controlled by a local dentist.
There was marked spacing of the upper front teeth, which had also splayed out and elongated giving a poor dental appearance.
Treatment was with removable and fixed appliances with ceramic brackets over an 8 month period.
Regular hygienist visits were required to maintain oral health.
A permanent bonded retainer was placed behind the teeth and 6 years later all is well and the lady is very pleased with her improved dental appearance.

A 13 year old girl with prominent front teeth and an unbalanced facial profile due to the position of the lower jaw.
The teeth were also crowded in the lower arch.
Treatment took place over a period of 22 months with a functional brace to improve the profile, followed by fixed appliances to straighten the teeth and detail the occlusion.

A 13 year old girl with prominet front teeth which are also crowded and malaligned and an unbalanced facial profile due to the position of the lower jaw.
Treatment took place over a period of 34 months with a functional brace to improve the profile and reduce the prominence of the upper front teeth, followed by extraction of 4 teeth and fixed appliances to straighten the teeth and detail the occulsion.
Removable retainers are worn at night to retain the result.

A 10 year old girl with prominent front teeth, incompetent lips and un unbalanced facial profiledue to the position of the lower jaw.
Treatment took place over a period of 4 years with a functional brace to improve the profile, to achieve competent (or closed) lips and to reduce the prominence fo the front teeth. followed by a course of fixed appliances to close any spaces and details the occulsion.
Removable retainers are worn at night to retain the result.
