A lady who had had severe periodontal disease which had been treated and controlled by a local dentist.
There was marked spacing of the upper front teeth, which had also splayed out and elongated giving a poor dental appearance.
Treatment was with removable and fixed appliances with ceramic brackets over an 8 month period.
Regular hygienist visits were required to maintain oral health.
A permanent bonded retainer was placed behind the teeth and 6 years later all is well and the lady is very pleased with her improved dental appearance. |
